 Joseph BurroughJoseph is an oil painter living in Richmond, Virginia, who first picked up his brushes and began working in oils as a hobby at age 15 while growing up in the small town of Tappahannock, Virginia. He is largely self-taught, taking an "intermediate painting" course in college and workshops as a professional. His style is best described as an representational realism, informed by 23 years of plein air painting. |
