Artist Profile
Michelle McCuneBorn and raised in Illinois, I have always had a passion for animals, nature and art. I pursued a career in veterinary medicine and am still practicing. I use my knowledge of anatomy and behavior in my art. I have travelled to places such as Namibia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, South Africa, and Costa Rica and paint only from my references and experiences. I am a self taught artist but participate in workshops and classes whenever I am able.
