 Gary ByrdGary Byrd was raised in McAlester, Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University with Bachelors degrees in Biological Science and Advertising. Gary is self-taught and has been a professional artist for 23 years. He travels the western United States and Canada gathering source material for many of his paintings. Specialties are the American Cowboy, wildlife and landscapes. Most paintings are created in his studio from photographic and plein air studies. |
