 Allison SwanExpressive Realist in Oil
Allison Swan is inspired by the beauty in nature and paints in an Expressive Realist style in oil. Predominantly self-taught, Allison was surrounded by art in her childhood in he mother’s small gallery and summer afternoons in the studio of artist William Ellsworth.
Her early adulthood was focused on sales and marketing until her son’s school project in 2005 required a painting. After having the overwhelming feeling of “I can do that”, she picked up a brush, bought dozens of |
