Gary Huber

Gary Huber expresses his deep love for the natural and rural landscape of his adopted Wyoming home through the pastel medium. His paintings convey a sense of peace and stillness yet his compositions are lively and colors vibrant. Many describe the work as restful and harmonious with a sense of atmosphere and mystery. His influences include Clyde Aspevig, Scott Christensen, George Carlson and others as well as Pennsylvania and California Impressionists. His favorite subjects are snow, water and mountains.
