 Mary BrigmanAfter painting with watercolors for several years I started working with pastels. I became fascinated with the rich color and light of pastel paintings. With soft pastels I feel that I have truly found my medium. I enjoy the way I can capture the impact of a moment in a landscape by directly applying the pigment with my fingers. My art consists of landscapes, usually scenes depicting the surrounding area in the lowcountry of South Carolina. |
